The Chemical Functional Ontology (ChemFOnt) is a hierarchical, OWL-compatible ontology describing the functions and actions of biologically important chemicals including primary metabolites, secondary metabolites, natural products, food chemicals, synthetic food additives, drugs, herbicides, pesticides and environmental chemicals.
